The Pelleossa Chair Is A Modern And Conceptual Version Of A Classic Of Italian Pre-Industrial Design, The Chiavari Chair. Its Name Evokes The Lightness And Simplicity Of Its Slim And Robust Structure. In The Meantime He Began His Activity As An Independent Designer Collaborating With Italian And Foreign Companies. Since 2004 He Has Been Developing Self-Producible Projects In Small Series. He Works In Close Collaboration With The Craftsmen, Taking Care To Personally Monitor All Phases Of Product Development And Being Passionate About The Problems Of The Project, In Particular Those That Refer To Wood And Artisanal Work. In The Same Years He Worked And Collaborated With The Model Maker And Luthier Francesco Rivolta. In 2007 He Took Part In The Salonesatellite For The First Time With The “Quadrato” Table Which Went Into Production And Was Selected For The Permanent Cosmit Collection. In 2009 He Met Michele De Lucchi With Whom He Began An Ongoing Collaboration. In 2010 He Participated In The Salonesatellite For The Second Time And Together With Alvaro Catalan De Ocòn Won The 2010 Design Report Award. Since 2010 He Has Been A Teacher Of Industrial Design At Naba In Milan With A Product Design Course Entitled “Projects Not Objects”. In 2012 He Was Invited By The Ngo “Liveinslums” To Design The Furnishings Of The “Why Not Academy” In Nairobi. In 2012 He Designed The Interiors Of The “28 Posti” Restaurant In Milan, Creating The Furnishings With The Inmates Of The Bollate Prison In Milan, In A Laboratory Established For This Project And Still Functioning Today. In 2013 He Was Invited, As An “Affiliated Fellow” To Spend 4 Months At The Prestigious American Academy In Rome, Where He Carried Out Research Aimed At Creating A Mapping Of The Productive-Artisan Fabric Of The Historic Center Of Rome. Also In 2013, He Presented A Collection Of Objects Selected In The Slums Of Nairobi At The Triennale, Made With Urban Waste But With The Typical Logic Of Serial Production; The Exhibition Is Entitled “Made In Slums”, Curated By Fulvio Irace. He Collaborates With Italian And Foreign Companies And Ngos Such As Tod’S, Saeco, Danese, Miniforms, Bolia, Valsecchi1918, Officinanove, Liveinslums As Well As Constantly Carrying Out Research Through Small Series Works. His Work Has Been Published In The Most Important National And International Magazines (Domus, Interni, Abitare, Intramuros, Wallpaper, Details, Inventario, Design Report, Monocle, Elle Decor).
